OUTDOOR ADVENTURE SPECIALISTS

ArborTrek Smugglers’ Notch offers year-round, zip-line eco-adventures ranging from the serene to the extreme. The Zip Line Canopy Tour is fully-guided and combines the thrill of high-speed ziplines with stunning views of the region and commentary on the local ecology, natural history, and lore of the area. The Treetop Obstacle Course and Climbing Adventure, on the other hand, are designed for those who want to get physical and include opportunities to slide, balance, jump, crawl, climb, dash, and swing through the trees on more than 90 elements. Adventure-Based Team Building Programs are available to school, youth, and community groups, as well as corporations and adult professional groups.

					We started the day with the treetop obstacle courses and boy did that not disappoint. We had the course pretty much to ourselves and Robin and Zkay (I hope I spelled that right) were really fun! Great senses of humor and helpful when we needed a little advice.



Later we did the zipline tour with Kate and Zola and wow those two are a LOT of fun! When we come back next time we definitely want those two for guides again! Lots of cool information about the trees and the ziplines and structures, and really great senses of humor. I genuinely can’t wait to get up there again.

					Very cool experience, definitely something you do once in a lifetime- the price was affordable and every part of the experience was professional, safe and fun. Zola & Ben were the guides from my 11AM tour group on 07/27 and they did an amazing job. Zola was very informational about the local sights on the ride over to the ziplines as well as making the experience fun with jokes and conversation. Ben was extremely knowledgable about the history of the lines and memorable as well. Overall a chill and fun outing- and certainly some exciting thrills on the longer and faster lines. It’s certainly not for those scared of heights! But had a wonderful time and highly recommend.

					My family and I, had such a nice time at Arbor Trek. It was Exciting, Challenging (in a good way). Theses nothing better then seeing your kids with the hugest smiles on their faces. And we all fall so safe Where?! The directions were explained clearly! And our guides were the most patient with me especially as it was my first time! Olive and (Jordan). I believe the names were! 					My daughter and I had a wonderful experience on the zip lining tour with our guides Zola and Isabel!! The instruction before hand on the mini zip line was very helpful to me.  My daughter, who has zip lined before said it was the best instruction she has received from any of the 3 different places she has visited.



We did have a young participant who had to leave the tour early. I was amazed at the patience and professionalism that the tour guides/instructors demonstrated throughout the event, assisting the both the person exiting and passing the time with the participants waiting.



Of course the scenery and activities were amazing. Thanks for a wonderful experience!! 😊👍🏻

					I visited ArborTrek with my family in June. My daughters and I participated in the Treetop Obstacle Course in the Back 40. It was a great time! We were able to challenge ourselves with the different levels of difficulty. My husband was able to watch us from the ground and take videos. Abby and Megan were very helpful and attentive. 					We did the zip lining experience with Ben and Evan and it was the best! It was 2 families, totaling 8 people and they did such a great job keeping everyone engaged and entertained. They were patient with the children and gave us some interesting facts. This was my daughters and I first time ziplining and we were both nervous, but we truly felt at ease. We would certainly recommend and would do this again!

Vermont’s Green Mountains are central to the area and provide opportunities for hiking and climbing. Scenery abounds here and outdoor activities are just out-the-door. In the winter, combine your zip line canopy tour with skiing and riding at Smugglers’ Notch Resort or Stowe Mountain Resort, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides. Spring through Fall, combine your zip line canopy tour or treetop obstacle course with guided hikes up Mount Mansfield, mountain biking, off-road Segway tours, canoeing, biking on the Stowe Bike Path, award-winning youth programming, swimming, and water slides at Smugglers’ Notch Resort, or any of a number of arts and collector auto shows in the area.
